Ramgarh, Aug 5: The Ramgarh District Congress Committee staged a demonstration in front of the sub-divisional office as part of the nationwide agitation by the Congress party against the increasing unemployment, inflation and the implementation of GST on food items in the country.
The program was presided over by District President Munna Paswan. He said in his address that the BJP government at the Center is anti-people, the young generation is facing the brunt of unemployment and the common man is suffering from wild inflation, imposing GST on food items like milk, curd and cheese is antagonistic.
After the conclusion of the dharna, the protesting workers reached the Ramgarh police station on foot and many activists courted arrest.
