Former Bihar minister Subhash Singh passes away

Patna, Aug 16: Subhash Singh, former minister for Bihar, passed away on Tuesday morning. The BJP MLA previously underwent a kidney transplant.

Sources claim that Subhash Singh was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi because he wasn’t feeling well. The news of his passing comes amid rumours that the Nitish-Tejashwi government’s cabinet expansion will occur on Tuesday, August 16, at 11:30 am.

Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister of Bihar, posted condolences on Twitter in response to the news of Singh’s passing.

गोपालगंज सदर से पूर्व मंत्री सह भाजपा विधायक श्री सुभाष सिंह जी के निधन का दुःखद समाचार प्राप्त हुआ। ईश्वर से प्रार्थना है उनकी आत्मा को अपने श्रीचरणों में स्थान एवं परिजनों को दुःख सहने की शक्ति प्रदान करे। ॐ शांति ॐ।

Former Bihar Minister Tarkishore Prasad, in a tweet said, “Heartfelt tributes to the former minister of Bihar government and MLA from Gopalganj, Subhash Singh on his death. May God give peace to his soul and strength to his bereaved family members to bear this loss. His death is an irreparable loss to the politics of Bihar and the BJP. Om Shanti.”
