Dhanbad Aug 23: A delegation of Sikh Welfare Society Jharkhand today met Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sandip Singh and sought protection for a helpless woman against a Dabangg who has allegedly blocked her house’s entrance space to capture it.
The delegation under Sikh Welfare Society Jharkhand president Sewa Singh informed the DC that despite complaining four times to the concerned police station and circle officer (CO) Jharia, under which house of the Sikh woman falls, no action was taken at the local administrative level.
The delegation alleged that the accused Mukesh Singh is a rich person and is considered a Dabang (tough) in the area. No one dares to protest him.
The victim woman Baljit Kaur in her complaint said that on July 16, 2016, she had purchased the land from Konika Mohanti and Renuka Mohnti in Jamadoba Cooperative Colony. A government road also crosses in front of her house.
Mukesh Singh, who wants to capture her house, has blocked the entrance of her building completely by parking his car on the road saying that he has the authority to keep it on government land (roadside).
The victim woman said that there is a patient in her house who can’t be carried by ambulance due to the blockade. She urged the DC for mapping government roads so that road of her Mohalla (colony) be cleared.
