Jamshedpur, Sept 7: Jamshedpur Management Association (JMA) organised an offline session under the banner of T.E.A Talks (Transformation through Experience and Awareness) with Prof. Sriram Narayanan of Michigan State University, USA. The session was organised at the Centre for Excellence  and was attended by over 100 participants from industry and academia.

The topic of discussion was Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Supply Chain Management. Prof. Sriram put forth his insights on the subject of the need of diversity in various organisations, roles and teams to achieve higher productivity and better quality.

Furthermore, through various examples from his research work, he laid emphasis on how teams fail to reach the desired levels of creative tensions in a group of like-minded people.

The whole talk was very enriching and engaging with lot of anecdotal examples and a lot of observations from an extremely participative gathering. The chief guest of the session was  Manish Jha, Head-Operations, Engine Business Unit, Tata Cummins.

Prof. Sriram was presented with a token of appreciation by the chief guest at the end of the session on behalf of JMA.
