Ranchi, Sept 20: The Sarala Birla University has invited applications for admission in various programmes. These include Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, Faculty of Commerce and Management, Faculty of Humanities and Linguistics, and Faculty of Nursing, Clinical Technology and Public Health.
The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science offers a three year PhD course; two year M Tech in computer science & engineering, thermal engineering, structural engineering, environmental engineering, construction technology & management, control systems, power systems, signal processing, and VLSI design.
Apart from this, the faculty offers a four year B Tech course and three year B Tech course under lateral entry in computer science engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics & communication engineering and electrical & electronics engineering.
The university offers similar courses in three year Diploma course and two year Diploma course with lateral entry in computer science engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics & communication engineering and electrical & electronics engineering.
Along with this, the university offers three year course in MCA and two year MCA course in application software, software development, and system engineering; two year course in MSc in software development; three year BCA and three year BSc (Hons) Mathematics.
The Faculty of Commerce and Management offers a three year PhD course; two year MBA course; three year BBA course; three year BBA course in capital markets; two year course in M Com in accounts and taxation; B Com (Hons) in Accounts; B Com (Hons) in E-Commerce and B Com (Hons) in taxation.
Meanwhile, the Faculty of Humanities and Linguistics offers various courses including a three year PhD course; two year courses in MA in English, Economics and Sanskrit; three year course in BA (Hons) in English, Economics and Sanskrit; two year MA in Performing Arts; three year BA (Hons) in Performing Arts and a six month programme in French Language.
On the other hand, the Faculty of Nursing, Clinical Technology and Public Health offer a three year PhD course; two year course in MSc in Yogic Science and a three year course in MSc in Yogic Science; four year BSC in Nursing; three year Diploma in general nursing & midwifery (GNM); two year Diploma in auxiliary nursing & midwifery (ANM); one year Diploma in yoga & fitness trainer and a four month Diploma in yoga therapy.
The fee of the respective courses may vary from around Rs 35,000 to Rs 5.2 lakhs.
