Patna, Sept 23: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address a mega rally named ‘Jan Bhavna Mahasabha’ in Bihar’s Purnia at ‘Rangbhoomi ground’ on Friday afternoon.

In order to set the tone for the 2024 General Elections, in which Bihar controls 40 Lok Sabha seats and the BJP is likely to engage the Mahagathbandhan directly, Shah will begin a two-day tour to the state today.

“There is great enthusiasm among the people about this ‘Jan Bhavna Mahasabha’. Besides the workers of the BJP, the common people themselves have made preparations for the success of this huge rally,” MoS Home, Nityanand Rai said.

Tomorrow, at 4 p.m. at Mata Gujri University in Kishanganj, the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, will also speak to a gathering of Bihar BJP MPs, MLAs, and previous ministers.

Shah will also speak at tomorrow night’s Bihar BJP Core Committee meeting at Kishanganj’s Mata Gujri University.
