Ranchi, Oct 7: JMM workers were assigned the task of taking welfare schemes to the villages after a daylong meeting of the JMM Central Committee at Sohrai Bhawan in Harmu.

During the meeting, the party made it clear to the party workers to keep an eye on 2024 election and were asked to make each and everyone aware about the works done by the state government.

Chief minister Hemant Soren informed the party workers about the work the party and the government did in Jharkhand during the last more than 1,000 days and said that these were never done earlier. He said that the JMM government took the development scheme to the villages.

Soren said that the workers are expected to take the benefits of welfare schemes to the needy villagers with the help of officials. He said that the programme will play a major role in strengthening the rural economy and dealing with drought conditions.

During the meeting, strategy was also chalked out to give a befitting reply to the opposition trying to destabilise the government by creating confusion.
