Ranchi, Nov 22: In order to improve school education through pre-service and in-service programs, the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhubaneswar, one of NCERT’s five such institutions nationwide, has been assisting the states of Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, and the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Island.
However, the Northeast states’ in-service programs and pre-service B.Ed. the program has been moved to NERIE since its formation in 2015 as the North-East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), Shillong.
Under the National Council for Educational Research and Training, RIE was founded in 1963. (NCERT).
The RIE Bhubaneswar offers instruction in two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programmes, four-year integrated B.Sc., B.A., and M.Ed. programmes, one-year Diploma Courses in Guidance and Counseling, and M.Phil. and Pre-Ph.D. programmes in Education.
The Institute also offers research and development services. The CEE entrance exam is used to determine who gets into the courses.
Eligibility
The minimum requirement for applying for a B.Ed. is a bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%. Candidates for admission to the B.Sc. B.Ed. the programme must pass the 10+2 exam with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%.
B.A. B.Ed applicants must have a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 arts, commerce, or science classes. Candidates with a diploma or undergrad degree in the arts or sciences and a cumulative GPA of at least 50% are also eligible to apply for the B.A. B.Ed.
Applicants for the M.Ed. programme must have a postgraduate or undergraduate degree in the arts or sciences with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%. Candidates who have completed a B.Ed. programme with a minimum of 50% overall or a B.Sc. and B.A. B.Ed. programme with a minimum of 50% overall is also eligible to apply for the M.Ed. programme.
A.M.A. in Education or M.Ed. degree with at least 55% marks is required for admission to the M.Phil. programme. All students, both domestic and foreign, may enrol in the diploma programme in guidance and counselling. The DCGC course is a one-year curriculum that combines internship, intensive practicum, and supervised self-learning.
CEE 2021 Entrance Exam is used as the foundation for admission to the B.Ed, B.A. B.Ed, B.Sc. B.Ed, M.Phil., and M.Ed. programmes offered by RIE, Ajmer. Bhubaneshwar’s Regional Institute of Education is accepting online applications for admission to its B.Ed, B.A., B.Sc., M.Phil., and M.Ed. programmes.
Admission
The Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar, offers admission based on the results of the CEE entrance exam to its 2-year B.Ed. programme as well as its 4-year integrated B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. programs.
A candidate must have earned at least 50% of the required points in their bachelor’s degree in order to be considered for admission to the B.Ed. program. Candidates for the B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. programmes must have completed their 10+2 exams in the arts, sciences, or commerce with at least a 50% grade point average.
Candidates who have completed a diploma or bachelor’s degree programme in the arts or sciences with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% are also eligible to apply for the B.A. B.Ed. programme.
Application Process
Register on the NCERT-official CEE’s website by going there. Log in to the newly established account and properly fill out the required information. From the drop-down option, choose the exam site and complete the qualifying examination.
Upload the most recent photo in the required JPG or JPEG format, along with the signatures. Visit the closest HDFC bank branch to make the payment of INR 400 (INR 200 for the reserved category). After making the payment, save the application form, then visit the Institute with it and the other necessary documents after being chosen for the CEE Exam.

- Original Residence and Caste certificate (OBC/SC/ ST/ PH)
