Ramgarh, Jan 3: BJP MLA CP Singh on Tuesday said that in the last three years, the crime graph has increased rapidly in Jharkhand and thousands of theft and dacoity incidents including 5,000 rapes, and 5,258 murders have been registered under the present government.
While critiquing the Soren government, Singh said that by destroying the industry in the entire state, the Chief Minister has set up a new industry of transfer posting, and mineral smuggling, in which he is extorting money by engaging his subordinates.
He added that as soon as the CM got power by promising five lakh jobs and unemployment allowance during the tenure of Raghuvar Sarkar, the tribal youth employed in the Special Force were made unemployed and worked to promote Naxalite terror.
He further said that in a hurry to hide his corruption and failures, the Chief Minister got the 1932 card passed in the Assembly without clarifying the planning policy, but instead of implementing it, sent it to the Center to include it in the Ninth Schedule and hang it.
Chief Minister’s recent statement showing sympathy to the cattle smugglers, in which he has instructed the police officers not to crack down on the cattle smugglers, which is not only shameful but also against the martyr woman police officer who was crushed to death by the cattle smugglers’ vehicle in Ranchi, he added.
