“I noticed that people were buying products which helped in building immunity. Customers have become very cautious about what they eat since the coronavirus outbreak. That is when I decided to come up with an immunity-boosting rasgulla which is enriched with immunity-boosting ingredients,” he said.
However, his business did not pick up instantly.
“Initially there was a lukewarm response but after Durga Puja and Diwali people have not stopped,” he added.
“I later realised that children would not drink Kadha during the outbreak, but would instead munch on chocolates. This gave me the inspiration to create the immunity booster chocolates that contain every ingredient used to make Kadha like mulethi, amla, kali mirch, and haldi among other ingredients,” the innovator added.
Talking about his latest innovations, Agarwal said, “At the moment, I am working towards creating chips, and kurkure from Oats and Ragi. I also worked on Ragi Idlis, flax seed laddoos, and much more.”
When asked about his reason behind this, Agarwal said, “I am trying to raise awareness among people through my innovations and to help them realise the impact of materials they put in their bodies in the name of flavours. I aim to raise awareness in people about healthy alternatives that are just as tasty as the regular food items.”
