Jamshedpur, Jan 14: GAIL India Limited today launched its ninth CNG station at Kadma. Gauri Shankar Mishra, general manager and officer-in-charge of GAIL, inaugurated the facility in presence of other senior officials.
Notably, This CNG Station is known as the “Mother Station”.
Mishra informed that the CNG station of East Singhbhum has been started as a mother station by GAIL under the Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga Project.
Moreover, officials said the gas is coming to its mother station through a steel pipeline from Purulia.
The mother station at Kadma in Jamshedpur will now supply gas to other stations from Jamshedpur itself, which will be a great convenience because earlier gas was being supplied from Ranchi, Bokaro and Durgapur.
