Ranchi, Jan 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held his annual ‘Pareeksha Pe Charcha’, a conversation with students, parents and teachers. The PM advised parents against putting undue pressure on children over marks and also gave tips to students on keeping a balance between hard work and smart work.
After the discussion ended, here are a few lessons that the students said they learnt through the conversation.
Akshat, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dipatoli Ranchi said, “PM Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha provides a platform for students to appear in exams in a stress-free atmosphere. We understood to accept failures and that failures are part of life and success. The only thing we should be worried about is to acquire knowledge as if we have the knowledge, marks will follow.”
Ridhhi, a student from Surendranath Centenary School said, “Pariksha Pe Charcha today helped both students and parents to put forth their views on several issues, many of which resonated with us. Exams are an essential part of life. Through the platform, we were made aware that students should take exams as a festival and pass with flying colours. We also learned that failing, in any case, should be taken as a step towards success.”
“The programme was motivational. The PM motivated us to not use unfair means in the exam and to sit in the exams without feeling stressed or pressurized. It was also a privilege for us to watch him,” said Payal of DPS Ranchi.
Ishan Sinha from DPS said, “It is a very good initiative by PM Modi to help students steer away from pressure and perform better. The PM helped students with their doubts and it helped us as well because we had several of those doubts ourselves. His words also taught us to deal with the examination stress and showed us the path of what to do and what to avoid in case a student feels helpless.”
Abhineet Kumar Sharma of DPS said, “It is a very appreciable effort by the government to help students during exams. The PM taught us to manage our time and our stress as well.”
Notably, around 38 lakh students have registered for the 6th Edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023.
