Hazaribag, Feb.13: BJP MP Jayant Sinha kick-started a unique campaign in his constituency to help children who lost both or one parent during covid by giving them an educational kit comprising of study materials and a tablet worth Rs.20,000.
Notably, the campaign is funded by Zomato and Feeding India through their CSR fund.
Sinha said that help is provided to such children by giving them stationery items, tablets, one-year free subscription to Unacademy to help them in their studies through online classes.
He handed over educational kits to 48 students in a program at the town hall on Sunday.
Sources said the educational kit comprises 12 notebooks, 10 pens, a geometry box and 10 pencils. He added that in order to eradicate malnutrition, nutritious food will be supplied to Anganwadi by Zomato and Feeding India.
He said he is thankful that the duo organisation is helping them in giving nutritious food and good education to children of his constituency.
