Jamshedpur, Feb 14: A fresh Western Disturbance which is brewing over northern India is likely to impact Jharkhand’s weather around Friday, said a bulletin issued by IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre on Monday.
Weathermen said a partly cloudy sky is expected on Friday, February 17 in southeast and northeast parts while mainly clear sky in the remaining parts of the state.
Ranchi Met Centre issued an alert of rain and thundershowers at several places on Friday.
On Saturday, February 18 a partly cloudy sky is expected in the southeast and north-eastern parts.
Weathermen said currently no significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand.
North-westerly and the northerly wind was prevailing over the state today. The wind will continue to fluctuate between north-westerly and northerly in the next 48- hours.
According to weathermen, clear sky and dry weather would prevail in the next two days with a gradual fall in minimum temperature by 2-3 °C.
