Ramgarh, Feb 15: A girl from Hehal under the Barkakana Police Station of Ramgarh district has accused a young man of CCL Colony Nayanagar Barkakana of sexually abusing her on the pretext of marriage, blackmailing, demanding money and threatening to kill her.
The victim has lodged an FIR in Barkakana police station, Ramgarh seeking appropriate action against the accused.
In her complaint, the girl revealed that they used to study at the same high school. On May 18, 2020, the man called her home to meet his sister. Seeing her alone, he forcefully made physical relations with her. He then threatened her of consequences if she said anything to anyone bout the ordeal. Out of fear, the victim claims to have not complained about this.
After this, he repeatedly forced her to make physical relations and assaulted her, made videos of her and started blackmailing her. He also demanded money. As the victim did not have money, she claims to have sold a gold chain weighing 10 grams and a gold earring.

On February 6, 2023, the accused notably made an Instagram call and said that he is going to marry another girl and will stay connected with her separately. After this, she went from Ranchi to Patna to meet him without informing anyone. However, he did not meet her. the victim claims of being cheated as the accused had promised to marry her.
The victim has pleaded for justice and demanded proper legal action against the accused. Police have started an investigation into the case.
