Dhanbad, Feb 16: The experts of technical institutions of the country suggested students and research scholars for using Mendley software and honing 10 types of skills for writing research papers on the third day of a five-day workshop on Research Methodology and Research Paper Writing (RMRPW-2023) being organised by Electrical Engineering department of BIT Sindri.
The chief speaker of the workshop Dr Santosh Kumar Verma, assistant professor of Assam Energy Institute (AEI) Sivasagar, while addressing gave detailed information and the importance about use of Mendley software in writing research papers and presented a demonstration on how to efficiently use the software while writing.
BIT Sindri Electrical Engineering department HoD Dr Md Abdul Kalam and coordinator Prof Praveen Kumar said that the workshop is being jointly organized by the institution’s electrical engineering department and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) Kolkata.
Besides M Tech students and research scholars, members of different faculties are also participating in large numbers
The address of Prof Brahmdeo Yadav of the civil engineering department of the institution was the centre of attraction on the third day of the workshop as it guided the participants, especially M Tech students on how to write a technical review paper.
Dr Rahul Kumar, a senior faculty member of the institution while delivering the speech shared his experience and suggested how to move step by step to publish an effective research journal. He also gave details on how to publish a research paper from the start to the end of the publishing journey.
The coordinator Dr Praveen Kumar said the workshop was attended by M Tech students and PhD scholars of different specialisations.
“Question and answer session between the expert speakers and the participants made the workshop enliven on the third day,” said Dr Kumar.
