Koderma, March 28: Police have claimed to solve the murder case of a school teacher 24-year-old Sonali Kumari whose body had been recovered from a stone mine on Monday. Police officials said Sonali’s tuition teacher Deepak Sao strangled her with the cable of a mobile charger and dumped the body in the water of a stone mine.
The Domchanch police said Sonali was not having an affair with Deepak as told earlier. Instead, Deepak was in one-sided love with Sonali and was forcing her to marry him. But Sonali had turned down his proposal. This angered Deepak who planned her murder.
Subdivisonal police officer of Koderma, Pravin Pushkar confirmed the one-sided love story which ended with the killing of Sonali. He said Deepak convinced Sonali of getting her loan to be cleared from a bank in Barhi. So she agreed to go to Barhi in the neighbouring Hazaribag district for this work. The driver of the SUV, Rohit Sao steered the vehicle to Neeru hill. Three associates of Deepak who were also a part of this murder plan were sitting in the SUV.
At Neeru Pahad, Deepak took out the cable of the mobile charger and strangulated her and afterwards dumped her dead body in a stone mine. Pushkar said others present in the SUV also helped Deepak in committing this crime.
Police have so far arrested Deepak Sao and Rohit Mehta. The hunt is on for the others.
