Ranchi, March 28: The Jharkhand High Court has directed the labour, planning and employment department secretary to remain physically present on April 6 in a case involving non-payment of salary to vocational training provider (VTP).
The Court of Justice Rajesh Kumar gave the direction after hearing a petition of a VTP Ishmat Ansari.
Ansari through his lawyer Naveen Kumar submitted before the court that the said department has held up his salary without assigning any reason.
The payment was held up following information of corruption in appointment of 38 VTPs. The petitioner mentioning this informed the court that the ACB probed the information of irregularities and gave a clean chit but despite that payment has not been released.
