Jamshedpur, April 4: Most districts across Jharkhand are expected to witness dry weather on Tuesday, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre this morning.
Weathermen said the maximum temperature will witness a rise in the next two days.
The forecast for Wednesday indicated light rain and thunderstorm activity at isolated places in south-eastern Jharkhand.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rain with thunderstorm occurred at isolated places over the state during the past 24 hours.
The highest rainfall recorded was 16.2 mm at Bandgaon (West Singbhum).
The highest maximum temperature of 33.7°C was recorded at Jamshedpur while the lowest minimum temperature of 16.8 °C was recorded at Ramgarh.
Weathermen said no major synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand.
A western disturbance was spotted over upper tropospheric level in today’s satellite pictures.
