Terror funding case: NIA raids in Lohardaga, recovers illegal weapons and documents

Ranchi, April 9: A team of NIA and a local police station raided the brick kiln located in Opa village of the Kudu police station area of Lohardaga district on Sunday in connection with the terror funding case.

One pistol, six bullets and many important documents of land and bank were recovered during the raid. The brick kiln owner has fled from the spot. The NIA and the police are raiding possible places for his arrest.

It is being told that the NIA had received secret information that Rs 15 lakh-reward Maoist Regional Commander Ravindra Ganjhu is being invested in different businesses by the brick kiln owner. After this the NIA team reached and raided with the help of the local police. Although neither the Maoist commander was found on the spot nor the businessman but many important documents and weapons related to the Maoist commander have been recovered.
