Koderma, June 5: A team of trainee IAS officers today visited two blocks of Koderma district seeing the various developmental works going on there. The team of IAS officers comprising Shruti Rajalakshmi, Ravi Kumar, Deepesh Kumari, Krishnakant Kanwaria, Pranjal Dhanda and Sulochana Meena visited Markachcho and Domchanch blocks.
The officers first observed the MGNREGA park being built in the Dandadih Panchayat of Markachcho block and also planted saplings there. Along with this, the trainees visited Arkosa, Karmagada of Markachcho block and Shersingha and Laxmipur self-supporting villages of Domchanch block. They did Sandhya Chaupal with the villagers of Swavalambi village. They inquired about the work being done in the self-supporting village and told in detail that the villagers are tying their village with the thread of development.
The IAS officers were greatly impressed by the work being done by the villagers through shramdaan.
During the Sandhya Choupal, the villagers explained the step-by-step method to make a self-supporting village. The officers were very happy to see the discussions being held by the villagers through the Sandhya Choupal. The officers interacted with villagers and said that the work done by them is for the development of the village which is visible here and is commendable.
