Dhanbad: Tata Steel Jharia Division takes out awareness rally on World Environment Day

Dhanbad, June 5: Tata Steel, Jharia Division on Monday morning took out an awareness rally in order to spread the message of LIFE (Lifestyle for Environment), on World Environment Day today.

Sanjay Rajoria, general manager, Jharia Division, Tata Steel, flagged off the rally from the General Manager’s Office which went to the office of the Tata Steel Foundation. More than 80 local children participated in the rally.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board (JSPCB) and was aligned with the ongoing flagship program, “Mission Life”, of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

Col Bhawani Singh Niwan, Head Administration, Pankaj Das, Head HRBP, Sujit Kumar Jha, (senior manager, security) , Pradeep Gour (senior manager environment) and Umesh Singh ( manager environment) were also present, along with other officers, non-officers and support staff on the occasion.
