Daltonganj, June 29: The BJP’s care and concern for the polling booth are extraordinary as not even the national party Congress nor the regional party JMM can go up to that level.
‘Mera booth, sab se Mazboot’ is the BJP’s coinage for its booth and a leader of any reckoning makes a political pilgrimage to the booths every now and then as part of its political renewal of voters’ faith in the party.
MP Vishnu Dayal Ram and his team reached three booths in Kishunpur and interacted with the voters and even with those who are not eligible to cast votes on age count.
On the surface, this political visit to a polling booth when Lok Sabha voting is 300 plus days away if it is not preponed, may look just like a journey to the booth for the opposition parties but for the BJP a visit to the booth is a kind of reassurance from the voters that there will be no less of percentage of voting in the coming election.
An MLC of Maharashtra, R C Shinde is camping here in Daltonganj over the last many days overseeing the ongoing ‘Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan’ of the BJP which signifies how the BJP high command keeps a tab on its programmes at the district or block level.
