Lover keeps girl hostage in Ramgarh forest for 4 days

Ramgarh, July 14: A young lover kept his girlfriend, hostage, in the dense forest for four days. This has come to light in Jumra village of Barkakana OP area, situated at the foothills of the mountains.  Regarding the incident, information was given by the villagers to Barkakana OP in-charge Shashi Prakash.

Kadru picket in-charge Santosh Mahto was deployed for the immediate release of the girl from the forest by the OP in-charge.  The girl was freed from the forest by the picket-in-charge with the help of the villagers.

It was told by the villagers and the local Mukhiya that Sarhul Munda was with having an affair with Ronnie Munda, a girl from the same village, for the last two years.  For the purpose to punish his girlfriend, the lover had kept her tied and imprisoned in dense forests for four days. He had doubts about his girlfriend. The lover continued to give food and water to the girlfriend kept hostage by him.

After four days, a young girl who had gone to graze cattle caught sight of the girl taken hostage.  After this, the villagers were informed by the girl that the girl was tied in the forest.  The girl was freed by the villagers and brought to Akhra of the village where the girl said that she had been kept hostage in the forest for four days by her lover.  After the incident, with the consent of both families, in the presence of the local Mukhiya and the villagers, the lover and the beloved were tied in marriage last evening.
