Ranchi, July 22: Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the distribution of Birsa Yojana and Employment Promotion Allowance and Transport Allowance under Mukhyamantri Sarathi Yojana at a function organized at Aryabhatta Auditorium, Morhabadi.

With this, he paved the path for generation of employment in 80 blocks of five districts of the state with the help of the labour, planning and skill development department of the state government.

The Chief Minister said that under the scheme, educated unemployed youths will get an opportunity to get respectable employment in their locality after training. This, he said, will stop migration of labourers to other states thus saving people from being victims of human trafficking.

He said that under the first phase, it has been started in 80 blocks of the state, which will be made operational in the entire state in future. Under this scheme, he said, youths will be trained to become professional beautician, nurse, tailor, computer literate and electrician besides others.

Talking about transport allowance, he said transport allowance of Rs. one thousand and Rs. 1.5 thousand per month respectively will be given to the young men and women or differently able or transgender.

He said in case of not getting employment after training, Rs one thousand per month will be given as incentive amount for a year, which will be payable directly through DBT.
