Ramgarh, July 23: One person died and two people were injured in a road accident on Saturday near Budh Bazar Barkakana located on Ramgarh-Patratu four lane. According to the information, a tempo which was going towards Ramgarh after taking passengers from Bhurkunda, hit the scooty JH 24J-8083 rider coming from the opposite direction of Ramgarh.
The scooty rider was seriously injured in the accident and the scooty was damaged. Rajanti Devi, 35, and Kamlesh Singh, 40, who were travelling in the tempo from Hehal to Gola, were injured. With the help of local people, the injured were immediately taken to the railway hospital for treatment. From there they were sent to the Ramgarh Sadar Hospital for better treatment. Later, the Barkakana OP police reached the spot.
Police said that the doctor declared the scooty rider dead during treatment at Sadar Hospital. The age of the deceased is said to be around 45 years. His identity has not been ascertained so far. The body has been kept safe in Sadar Hospital. Police are trying to identify the deceased with the help of scooty.
