Boy and girl crushed under train near Chichaki Rly station

Dhanbad July 24: A boy and a girl were crushed to death by a goods train near Chichaki railway station between Dhanbad and Gaya rail section under the Dhanbad Rail Division of East Central Railway (ECR) zone on Monday morning.

Gomoh railway station GRP station-in-charge B Das told media persons that the bodies of both boy and girl were found on a rig down line of  Grand Chord line at around 6 am on Monday. The heads of both the deceased, ages between 20 to 26, had been separated from the bodies in the incident.

“ In prima facie, it looked a suicide case as both reportedly got crushed together by a goods train.  Bodies could not be identified till late afternoon. Investigation of the incident is on but it is presumed they were a loving couple and committed suicide near Chichaki railway station. No people of surrounding villages could be able to identify them”, said B das GRO Gomoh railway station.

The GRP finally sent the body to Dhanbad for post-mortem.
