Hazaribag, July 24: A mobile court-cum-awareness camp was organised today for the disabled in the collectorate premises. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Bhuvanesh Pratap Singh, State Disability Commissioner, Women, Child Development and Social Security Department, Jharkhand. On this occasion, the trainees of the Indian Administrative Service of 2020 and 2021 batch were mainly present along with the DC Nancy Sahay and Deputy Development Commissioner Prerna Dikshit.
In this programme, crutches were distributed among disabled persons. On this occasion, 50 physically challenged, six mentally challenged, 22 E.N.T. and 10 eye-disabled persons were marked with disability certificatess by the Medical Board.
Persons with disabilities put their problems before the state disability commissioner, who assured them of solving their problems. A total of eight stalls were set up on the campus for the convenience of the disabled, which included Divyang pension, UDID Card, Medical Board, Aadhaar Card, Divyang equipment, Divyang scholarship, inquiry centre and registration stall.
