Ranchi, July 26: The government has moved seven IPS officers from their current positions.
Priyadarshi Alok, who was assigned as JAP-1 Commandant, has been named Bokaro SP. Naushad Alam, the Ranchi Rural SP, was promoted to the Sahibganj district SP. Ajit Peter Dungdung, who previously served as STF SP, has been shifted to Deoghar as SP. Rishma Rameshan, who was previously assigned as Dhanbad Rural SP, has been shifted to Palamu as SP.
Deepak Kumar Sharma, a newly promoted IPS officer, has been appointed SP of the Giridih district. Vimal Kumar, another newly promoted IPS officer, was appointed SP of the Seraikela district. Pitambar Singh Kherwar, another newly promoted IPS officer, was appointed SP of the Dumka district.
According to a notification, those officers in whose place someone else has been posted and who have not been posted have been asked to report to the Police Headquarters Jharkhand Ranchi.
