Hazaribag: 400 home guards take pledge of duty with honesty

Hazaribag, Aug 7: More than 400 new home guards participated in the passing out parade after completing basic training at Hazaribagh Home Guard Training Camp this morning. A passing out parade was organised on Monday on completion of basic training. More than 400 new home guards, who belonged to Khunti and Simdega districts. took a pledge of selfless service and duty with honesty.

Joint Director of Jharkhand Police Academy (JPA) Sanjay Ranjan Singh, special guest JAP commander Rajkumar Mehta, JPA Senior deputy superintendent Roshan Gudiya and home guard commandant Ravi Kumar Kujur were present as chief guests in the programme. Sanjay Ranjan Singh inspired all the newly passed-out home guards to discharge their duties honestly. He also said that the basic training given in the training centre will help them in tackling all situations during duty. All the trainees displayed an excellent parade. Commander Ravi Kumar Kujur inspected the parade.

A total of 63 days of training was given to 400 home guards of the Khunti and Simdega districts.

Inspector Pintu Rajak, company commander Gautam Sagar Rishi, Mansidh Surin, Rajesh Kumar, Chandra Dev Sharma, Satish Sharma, Chhatradhari Sav, Devnandan Saw, Dilip and many others were present on the spot.
