Jailed ex-Jharia MLA brought to RIMS for treatment

Ranchi, Aug. 11: Former BJP legislator Sanjeev Singh, who was jailed in the murder case of former deputy mayor Neeraj Singh, has been brought to RIMS for treatment.

On July 10, Sanjeev was injured after falling from the chair in the jail ward. He was undergoing treatment at Shaheed Nirmal Mahto Medical College and Hospital in Dhanbad. From there, he has been brought to RIMS for better treatment.

In the year 2017, three people, including former deputy mayor of Dhanbad Neeraj Singh were shot dead. Neeraj Singh’s cousin and former BJP MLA from Jharia, Sanjeev, was made a prime accused in the murder case. Following which, Sanjeev surrendered before the court.
