Police officers and members of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) are working to save those who may be trapped in a landslide at the temple in the Summer Hill area.

The devotees had assembled to offer prayers on the occasion of Sawan. Nearly 50 people had gathered at the time of the incident, an official said.

The Chief Minister stated that the local government is tirelessly working to remove the debris in order to rescue anyone who may still be trapped.
