Amravati, Aug 22: The Maharashtra police have filed a case against the suspect for reportedly issuing threats of death to Lok Sabha MP Navneet Rana, as stated by the police on Tuesday.
The accused individual has been recognized as Vitthal Ra.
Police mentioned that a legal case has been filed under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
“A case has been registered under sections 504, 506 (b) of the IPC for threatening to kill Amravati MP Navneet Rana. The accused used the mobile phone to threaten the MP,” police said.
In this context, Vinod Guhe, the private secretary of Navneet Rana, filed a police complaint.
