Ranchi, Aug.25: A class VI student of Sacred Heart School Aradhya Krisha fell down from roof top of the school. The school is in Hulhundu under Tupudana police station on the outskirts of the state capital.
Reason behind the fall could not be ascertained so far. According to school authority, it is a case of suicide attempt while Meera Singh, officer-in-charge (OC) of concerned police station, said the matter is under investigation.
“After getting information about the fall, I have sent officers to probe the reason behind the death. I have asked them to take statements from school children. Once everything becomes clear only then I will be able to give any conclusive statement in the matter,” OC Singh said
According to a school insider, “The girl of section B of Class VI jumped from the roof top. The school management immediately rushed her to Paras Hospital in Dhurva, where she is undergoing treatment in ICU. It has not been ascertained so far why the girl jumped . Parents have been informed regarding the incident,” the insider said.
