Tata Steel signs MoU with IIT (ISM) Dhanbad for M Tech internship programme

Jamshedpur, Aug 31:  Tata Steel signed an MoU with IIT (ISM) Dhanbad for initiating a flagship MTech Internship Programme.

Present for the MoU signing were Prof. J. K. Pattanayak, Officiating Director, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, Prof. Dheeraj Kumar, Deputy Director, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, Prof. Sagar Pal, Dean (Research & Development), IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, Atrayee Sanyal, Vice President HRM, Tata Steel and Debashish Bhattacharjee, Vice President, Technology and R&D, Tata Steel.

The MoU has been signed to attract top talent in the technology space from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and offer them a 6-12 month long internship at Tata Steel.

This program is the first of its kind in India. The programme will also enable Tata Steel to nurture new talent and give them long-term opportunities in the company.

“We are excited to launch this flagship MTech internship program for the students of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. This internship program is an excellent opportunity for M Tech students to gain valuable experience in R&D and technology while also providing Tata Steel with access to top talent,” said Atrayee Sanyal, Vice President, HRM, Tata Steel.
