Jamshedpur, Sept 7: National secretary of Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) Suresh Sonthalia today said that the G-20 Summit, which is a unique international event of its kind to be held in New Delhi, will open many better avenues for Indian business and businessmen across the country.
He further said, they expect some strategic decisions on financial inclusion and acceptance of digital technology and reform in taxation policies, which will have a significant impact on the growth of SME business not only in India but across the world.
Sonthalia informed that in order to study and understand the various decisions of the G-20 Summit during and after the event, and to disseminate them among the business community of India, a committee has been formed.
Sonthalia said that as a result of the G20 deliberations, traders expect a huge increase in export trade related to FMCG products, computers and their peripherals, communication equipment, toys, consumer durables, Indian handicrafts, hospitality sector.
According to him, apart from this, there is a possibility of growth in the export trade of instruments, gems and jewellery, furnishing items, electronic products etc.
