TSF felicitates 205 students for outstanding performance

Dhanbad, Sept 22: Tata Steel Foundation (TSF), Jamadoba, felicitated 205 meritorious students of its leasehold area for their outstanding performance in the annual Secondary Board Examination 2023, conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi.

A TSF official said that in the function held at the JRD Tata Auditorium, Jamadoba, Sanjay Rajoria, General Manager of Tata Steel, Jharia Division, was the chief guest and he along with other guests felicitated the meritorious students of the region.

The successful students got coaching in different subjects at Pre-Matric Coaching (PMC) classes run by the Tata Steel Foundation.

“The aim of this programme was to recognise the achievements of 205 students, who have secured an aggregate of 75% or more in the annual Secondary Board Examination 2023,” the official said.

“Gratitude was also expressed to the 42 teachers from senior classes, without whom this feat would have not been possible,” he added.

The programme began with a safety pause, followed by students greeting the esteemed guests with the gift of a sapling each. The ceremonial lamp was lit jointly by the chief guest, Sanjay Rajoria, the teachers and others.

Rajoria congratulated all the successful students and lauded the efforts of the teachers. He also praised TSF, for running such educational programmes that benefit a large number of students belonging to the company’s leasehold areas.

Col Bhavani Singh Nirwan, Head of Administration, Pankaj Kumar Das, Head of HRBP, Santosh Kumar Mahato, Regional Secretary, Rashtriya Colliery Mazdoor Union, Adarsh Gupta, Manager of Education, TSF and Khusbu Prajapati, Manager of Education, TSF Jamshedpur were also present on the occasion.
