Jamshedpur: XITE College to host two-day national conference on entrepreneurship

Jamshedpur, Sept 29: XITE College, one of Jamshedpur’s premier institutions based at Gamharia is going to organise a two-day national conference on the theme “Entrepreneurship in India – Issues and Challenges”, on September 30 and October 1.

This is the second national conference organized by the college.

The conference is sponsored by ICSSR-ERC and aims to bring together entrepreneurs; both potential and in practice, funding agencies, academicians and industry professionals on the same platform to learn, network and explore the current issues and challenges for entrepreneurs in India and to deliberate on measures to promote its development.

The conference has received an overwhelming response and erudite contributions from academicians and scholars who will present their research both in offline and online mode over the two days of the conference.

Manoj Kumar, Vice- Chancellor, Kolhan University, Chaibasa has kindly agreed to be the chief guest for the event. Jayant Shekhar, registrar, Kolhan University, Chaibasa will be the guest of honour. Indrajit Mukherjee, Professor, XLRI Jamshedpur will deliver the keynote speech.

Senior faculty of colleges in Jamshedpur and Kolkata will chair the different sessions of the conference presentations.

Expert academicians from various colleges in Jamshedpur and Chaibasa are a part of the core advisory committee and general advisory body for the conference.

The conference proceedings will be launched during the inaugural ceremony and distributed to the participants on the same day.

The inaugural ceremony will be available on live telecast and online participants will be able to join the ceremony virtually.
