Dhanbad, Oct 8: In the past few days, the police have taken action against coal-laden trucks parked at various pumps and roadsides in the Topchanchi police station area.

On Sunday, the Topchanchi police seized six coal-laden trucks on the National Highway neat pump and service road in Kotadih.

The police have also arrested two individuals.

The truck drivers mentioned that they were awaiting their documents. Only after the documents are in order, the trucks will be allowed to proceed.

Following the police’s action, there is a sense of anxiety among the coal-laden truck drivers stationed at various places in the Topchanchi police station area. They have started moving their coal-laden trucks away from the National Highway towards the Dhanbad direction.

As per sources, the coal-laden trucks do not have the necessary documents, which is why they are not allowed entry at the Giridih border on GT Road. This is the reason the trucks are parked there. These trucks have number plates from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Anil Vidhyarthi, the in-charge of the Topchanchi police station, mentioned that this action has been taken under the guidance of higher authorities. Six trucks have been seized, and an investigation is underway.
