Jamshedpur, Oct 9: Most districts of Jharkhand will witness dry weather today and for the next three days, predicted weathermen at IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre.
Capital Ranchi, steel city Jamshedpur, coal town Dhanbad, temple city Deoghar and most places across Jharkhand today woke up to bright sunshine and rise in maximum reading.
Weathermen ruled out the possibility of rain in the next three to four days.
Synoptic features suggested that a north-south trough was running from Sikkim to north coastal Odisha across central parts of Bangladesh extending up to 3.1 km above mean sea level.
The line of withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon continues to pass through Lucknow, Satna, Nagpur, Parbhani, Pune and Alibag.
Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from remaining parts of East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh; some parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana; and some more parts of Maharashtra and Central Arabian Sea during the next 24 hours.
