Jamshedpur, Oct 11: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of dry and crisp weather across Jharkhand today.
Ruling out the possibility of any rainfall activity weathermen said all 24 districts would experience bright weather with a slight rise in maximum temperature.
Satellite imagery suggested that currently no significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand.
The line of withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon continues to pass through 27.0°N/85.0°E, Raxaul, Daltonganj, Kanker, Ramagundam, Bijapur and 16.0°N/70.0°E.
Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of southwest monsoon from some more parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh; some parts of Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha; some more parts of Karnataka and remaining parts of Telangana, Maharashtra and Central Arabia Sea during next two days.
Dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 36.8°C was recorded at Godda yesterday while the lowest minimum temperature 21.5°C was recorded at Ranchi.
