Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court has granted relief to Godda MP Nishikant Dubey by ordering a halt on punitive action against him until September 30. The case pertains to allegations of forgery made by Shivdatt Sharma, accusing Dubey of involvement in the purchase of property belonging to Paritran Medical Trust by the Baba Baidyanath Medical Trust in Deoghar.
Nishikant Dubey approached the High Court seeking to quash the FIR filed against him. Hearing the petition, the High Court directed the police to refrain from taking any action against Dubey until further notice.
