Ranchi: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has written a letter to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, urging him to expedite the completion of several pending traffic infrastructure projects in Jamshedpur. Das emphasized that these projects are crucial for resolving traffic congestion issues and providing relief to the residents.

Das highlighted that Jamshedpur, being a major industrial hub, faces severe traffic challenges due to heavy vehicle movement and economic activities. He pointed out that persistent traffic jams are hampering daily life, and urgent action is needed to address the issue.
Pending Projects in Jamshedpur
1. Govindpur Flyover and Bypass Construction
• The tender for this ₹138.74 crore project was approved, but construction remains stalled.
2. Bridge and Road Connecting NH-33 from Litti Chowk to Swarnrekha River
• The foundation stone was laid for this project, but further development has been delayed.
3. New Inter-State Bus Terminal at Mango (NH-33)
• Only the boundary wall has been completed, with the main construction work yet to commence.
Das urged the Chief Minister to prioritize these projects to improve Jamshedpur’s traffic management system and ease the daily struggles of commuters.
