Ranchi: The use of loudspeakers, DJs, and other sound amplifying devices between 10 PM and 6 AM has been prohibited in Ranchi following an order issued by SSP Chandan Sinha. The directive aligns with the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000, and adheres to the guidelines issued by the High Court.

To ensure compliance, citizens can report violations to the Ranchi Police Control Room at the following numbers:

Alternatively, complaints can also be lodged via Dial-112. The identity of informants will be kept confidential.
