Jharkhand Health Minister Irfan Ansari Distributes Appointment Letters To 166 New Recruits

Ranchi: Jharkhand Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari on Wednesday handed over appointment letters to 166 newly recruited personnel in the state’s health department. The recruits include 56 specialist medical officers, 41 medical officers, 57 OT technicians, 11 dental surgeons, and one legal consultant.

State To Address Doctor Shortage Soon

Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari assured that significant changes will soon be seen in Jharkhand’s health sector. He emphasized that the shortage of doctors in the state will be resolved soon, and more recruitments will take place in the near future to strengthen the healthcare system.

Medical Colleges To Be Established In Every Panchayat

Dr. Ansari announced an ambitious plan to expand medical education, stating that new medical colleges and increased medical seats will be introduced in the state. He further revealed that every panchayat will have a medical college, and AI technology and robotic surgery will be used for advanced treatment.

“Soon, robotic surgery will commence in medical colleges. Additionally, the number of 108 ambulances will be increased, and bike ambulance services will also be introduced to improve emergency medical response,” he added.

10,000 New Appointments In The Health Department

The Health Minister announced that 10,000 new appointments will be made in the health department. He further stated that retired doctors will be rehired, and medical graduates will be required to serve for three years post their education.

Additionally, he reaffirmed plans for:

✔ More medical colleges and increased medical seats

✔ Robotic surgery introduction in medical institutions

✔ Expansion of 108 ambulance services

✔ Bike ambulance services for rural areas

✔ Helicopter ambulance services in every district
