Lashkar-e-Taiba Terrorist Abu Qatal Singhi Also Killed

Pakistan has been witnessing a series of targeted killings related to terrorist activities in recent days. On Saturday night, Abu Qatal Singhi, a notorious terrorist affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, was also assassinated. Abu Qatal was a top operative of Lashkar and was on India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) most-wanted list. He was a significant threat to both the Indian Army and security agencies. He was responsible for the attack on a pilgrim-filled bus in Reasi, India, last June, which resulted in multiple casualties.

Mufti Shah Meer Also Shot Dead

On Friday, Mufti Shah Meer was shot dead in Turbat, Balochistan. Attackers opened fire on him as he was leaving a mosque after offering prayers. He was critically injured and taken to a hospital in Turbat, where he succumbed to his injuries. Mufti Shah Meer was the same individual who, in March 2016, kidnapped Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav and handed him over to the Pakistani military.

Terrorist Attack on Pakistani Army Convoy

On Sunday, a terrorist attack targeted a Pakistani army convoy traveling from Quetta to Taftan. The attack resulted in the deaths of seven soldiers and left 21 others seriously injured. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack, further alleging that the actual death toll of Pakistani soldiers was around 90.
