Darbhanga: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a sharp dig at the opposition’s INDIA alliance during his election rally in Darbhanga, drawing a satirical comparison with Mahatma Gandhi’s three monkeys. He said, “Just like Gandhi’s three monkeys, the INDIA bloc also has three — Pappu, Tappu, and Appu. Pappu cannot speak the truth, Tappu cannot see the truth, and Appu cannot hear the truth.”
‘Opposition Divides Society and Weakens Security’
Yogi accused the INDIA bloc of dividing people along caste lines and weakening Bihar’s law and order by nurturing criminal elements. “These people are trying to compromise Bihar’s security by flattering family mafias and making them their disciples. They are the same ones who divided Bihar by caste, armed society with guns, and tarnished its image. They invite infiltrators, tamper with your faith, and weaken national security,” he said.
Attack on Congress Over Kashmir
The UP Chief Minister lashed out at Congress, blaming it for Kashmir’s historical troubles. “PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have freed Kashmir from terrorism and extremism. Why did the valley become devoid of Hindus? It was Congress’ sin that Article 370 was imposed. Pakistanis were being settled there while Indians were being driven out,” Yogi said.
‘We Crushed the Mafia with Bulldozers’
Yogi further claimed that parties like the RJD and Congress had made kidnapping a business and turned professional criminals into their followers. “We used bulldozers on these mafia networks to end their reign,” he said. Calling the Samajwadi Party and its allies “anti-Hindu and anti-Ram,” Yogi declared that the NDA stood firmly for those devoted to Lord Ram and Goddess Janaki.
He concluded by asserting, “NDA’s victory is Bihar’s victory. If we stay united, we remain strong. Divided, we will be weakened.”
Congress Responds, Calls It an Insult to Lord Hanuman
Reacting to Yogi’s “three monkeys” remark, Congress leader Pawan Khera accused him of insulting Lord Hanuman. “He calls himself Yogi, but he is mocking Hanuman Ji. What more can we say? The people are watching and listening,” Khera said.
