Ranchi: The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee has convened a crucial meeting of district presidents and observers on December 19 to review ongoing activities and chart the party’s future strategy.
State-Level Strategy Meeting Announced
The meeting will be held under the chairmanship of state Congress president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, with Jharkhand Congress in-charge K Raju also in attendance. Party leaders will assess recent organisational work and finalise upcoming political and organisational plans.
Statewide Protest Against MGNREGA Changes on December 17
The Congress has announced statewide protests on December 17 against proposed changes to the MGNREGA scheme. Demonstrations will be organised at all district headquarters as part of a nationwide movement, with the party leadership directing state units to ensure strong and visible opposition.
Next Phase of Party Preparations
As part of its organisational push, the Congress plans to activate district presidents and observers more aggressively, launch a signature campaign at the gram panchayat level, and conduct training meetings to strengthen the party structure across Jharkhand.
