Ranchi: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released the schedule for the third round of online counselling for PG NEET 2025, with applications to be accepted from January 27 to January 29.

Application Fees and Counselling Process

For General and EWS candidates, the application fee has been set at ₹1,000, while SC, ST and female candidates will need to pay ₹500. The counselling fee is ₹2,000 for the General category and ₹1,200 for reserved categories. JCECEB has clarified that candidates already included in the state merit list do not need to apply again. The entire counselling process will be conducted online as per the guidelines of the Medical Counselling Committee.

Security Deposit and Revised Cut-Off Impact

The security deposit has been fixed at ₹30,000 for government medical colleges and ₹2 lakh for private medical colleges. Meanwhile, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has revised the PG NEET 2025 qualifying cut-off, reducing it to the 7th percentile for General and EWS candidates and zero percentile for SC, ST and OBC categories, allowing more candidates to participate in counselling.

Merit List and Seat Allotment Timeline

The provisional merit list will be released on January 30, with objections accepted on February 1. The final merit list will be published on February 2. Choice filling will take place from February 3 to February 5, followed by the release of seat allotment letters on February 7. Selected candidates must report to their allotted institutions between February 8 and February 13.
