Bulldozer Action On 12 Houses
According to residents, the administration had recently ordered the demolition of 12 houses built on Mundari Prakriti land located on Khadagda Shiv Durga Mandir Road. When the demolition drive began, local residents protested strongly, claiming they were being unfairly removed despite long-term settlement in the area.
Residents Claim Legal Purchase And Payment
The families have alleged that they purchased the land at a rate of ₹5.25 lakh per katha and have been living there for years after constructing houses. They further claimed that they paid ₹1,08,93,750 for 38.25 dismil of land, yet are now facing eviction.
